Phosphor (still in stealth) is building a modern financial modeling platform that eliminates the error-prone and time-consuming nature of financial modeling and deal management in Excel.

Large sectors of the finance industry, responsible for conducting tens of billions of dollars in transactions and investments each year, are built around using Excel in ways it was never designed to be used.

By duck taping together numerous Excel files, this creates a shaky analytical foundation responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in loss every year across:

• Model Errors: Busted spreadsheets cost millions in bad investments or lost opportunities
• Human Capital: MBAs getting paid absurd sums to do middle school math for a living
• Massive Inefficiency: Imagine building software without basic version control or code reuse.

We're solving the problem by replacing the traditional spreadsheet interface with an intuitive, human-readable financial modeling language, and building all of the supporting infrastructure around it.

We've created massive distribution channels, and the product line opportunities (e.g. Github of Finance) are endless. We're looking for experienced full stack engineers to help us bring this product forward into the market.

Our product is built end to end in F# using the Fable Compiler - experience valued, only interest required. Compensation highly competitive, with emphasis on equity.
