SQream parallelizes all aspects of ingest: reading, processing and writing steps, with no user intervention. During the ingest process, SQream automatically and transparently prepares all data for immediate, fast analysis – with no user intervention required. SQream does this by utilizing the GPU. Splitting large tasks into smaller processes, SQream distributes operations between multiple GPU cores. GPU-accelerated architecture and automated optimizations remove intermediate steps when analyzing data. SQream utilizes the GPU’s brute power to analyze data immediately after loading. It achieves this by compressing and collecting metadata while data is loaded, resulting in reduced I/O and higher throughput for loads and queries.
