Equilibrium Labs is an R&D company focused on hard engineering problems around security, privacy, and scaling of the decentralized web.

Blockchains make digital interactions predictable and verifiable without intermediaries. This feature is emerging as the foundation for next-generation cloud infrastructure that is shared, permissionless, and global.

The evolving ecosystem of protocols, applications, and communities that rely on this new infrastructure is poised for many things: disrupt established internet service monopolies, address challenges in data control & privacy, revolutionize the world of finance, and foster innovation through composability among various applications.

However, to deliver on its promises, the infrastructure must improve by several orders while balancing different needs and trade-offs.

Equilibrium Labs is an R&D company set out to solve these challenges. We are a global team of ~30 people focused on the hardest engineering problems in decentralized technologies.

While we love to experiment and launch products & technologies of our own, Equilibrium Labs isn’t going solo on this journey. We work with pioneering builders and ecosystems such as Aleo, Starknet, Solana, and Avail.
