When designing the system, we opted for a serverless architecture, utilizing components like API Gateway, Step Functions, and SNS.
The system comprises approximately 20 microservices that are hosted on AWS Lambda. Most of these microservices are implemented in Python/Django and cater to various functionalities.
We utilize Postgres GIS databases to store and manage geospatial data efficiently.
Our system exposes Restful JSON APIs for seamless communication with clients and third-party services. Additionally, we have integrations set up to interact with external services and customers' systems.
Piclo is a pioneering company crafting innovative software solutions like Piclo Flex and Piclo Max to make electricity grids smarter and more sustainable, enabling access to global electricity markets.
